Schaufenster, literally "look window", is the German word for shop window. This SCHAU FENSTER aims to be a window into other galleries, ateliers, academies, and curator brains around the globe. Further insights coming up!

Past Installations

LIMONCELLO, LONDON - showing Sean Edwards, Yonatan Vinitsky, The Hut Project, Timothy Davies, Jack Strange
One of our favorite SCHAU FENSTER installations by London's one and only Limoncello Gallery: every work had something window-y about it. Thanks to Rebecca May Marston and Rosa Tyhurst for this super group exhibition on view from March - June 2012. Just goes to show: you don't need a lot of space for a great show!

EVA WINKELER, FRANKFURT / COLOGNE - SHOWING JO DICKREITER
The new year 2012 began with our SCHAU FENSTER being a window into Eva Winkeler Gallery, Frankfurt a.M. / Cologne (January-March 2012). We were thrilled that Jo created this installation with soundtrack especially for our window space.

ALPINEUM PRODUZENTENGALERIE
Monika Kiss Horváth and Raphael Egli are founding memebers of the only artist run gallery space in Switzerland: Alpineum Produzentengalerie Luzern, existing since 2007. For our SCHAU FENSTER, the artists collaberated to create a wonderful installation of nostalgic wanderlust.

We discovered FRANCISCA SILVA's colorful, trashy, tinkered, cardboard, hot-glue, space-mother "Gesamtkunstwerk" during the Bachelor exhibition at Zurich University of the Arts and were exhilerated at her spontaneous consent to construct an installation in our SCHAU FENSTER, on view from June - August 2010. Rod Barton, gallery owner in London, sent us a wonderful work by his artist Daniel Pasteiner to be presented in our SCHAU FENSTER from April - June 2010. Have alook!
Hubert Bächler, Zurich based gallery owner momentarily without gallery space, presented his artist Blair Thurman in our SCHAU FENSTER from February to April 2010. Have a look!
